Get ready for a one way trip towards the unknown, where Dekad is taking us to with this fifth album, "Nowhere Lines"... Dark but also lucid about our global future, the new record is intended both as a thriller and a dark audio road movie to nowhere, exactly the place where humanity is currently heading to, head first and at full speed. Promoted by its first single "A Deadly Show", "Nowhere Lines" sees the french act back at its best after a seven year hiatus, with a blend of catchy choruses from the finest electro pop and trademark bass lines, powered by punchy and mechanical rhythm patterns borrowed to the EBM genre. These are sheer Dekad songs as always, and for the first time co-produced by Foretaste's XY member who co-wrote The Overlookers' "Teenage Wet Dreams" album three years ago. Are you ready to keep your eyes on the "Nowhere Lines" ? Are you ready to follow these traces that all seem to converge towards nowhere ?

title: A Perfect Picture

format: album
release date: 2015-07-14

Fourth Dekad album confirming the band’s evolution after evolution. Filled with danse tunes but also darker and more intimate moments. Featuring Foretaste’s XX, Darkelti from Celluloide and produced by Foretaste XY with Member U-0176.

Dekad’s A perfect picture confirms its evolution initiated with Monophonic and the change from a trio to a solo act. The album follows the same solid path than its predecessor with traditional EBM basslines (Poladroid, Tied Up), more intimate moments (Not Really There, Hate), darker and slower tracks (A perfect Picture) and ultrapop closing song (The Guilt). A large part of the production work was done by Foretaste’s XY (in collaboration with Member U-0176) which gives a different vibe to Dekad’s sound – without diluting Dekad’s identity and heavier sound. A Perfect Picture is more than a follow-up to Monophonic – it continues Dekad’s evolution to a more versatile and richer artist.

Now a solo project, Dekad presents its third album logically named 'Monophonic'. And this change in the line-up proves once again that less is more. Dekad remains a blend of electro, pop, wave and EBM but add extra layers with deeper songwriting and lush production. Led by first single 'So Sorry' an emotional duet with Foretaste's singer, 'Monophonic' strongly improves the sound of Dekad and proposes a great combination of energy and melodies. 'Monophonic' is probably the best album of Dekad to date, and it reminds us, if necessary, that Dekad is a band we have to count with.
